Back in Sweden again

After some nice weeks over in the USA am I now back at my home. I was out at my garage yesterday to start up and try to do something useful. It took me an hour or two to start up. In the beginning it was just too cold :) I bought some new stuff this trip to. New Simpson Latch & Link Lap Belts for my kids so they sit as safe as possible. For myself I bought Simpson Latch F/X Driver Restraint Systems. This if I will get out on the track again to kick some plastic fantastic cars.

I have updated my PURCHASE & SELL. Take a look and see if there is something intresting.

Here I started mount the Harness/belts. I have also started to fix all cables around the battery. I will take away some of the stuff there that I don't use. In the other opposite side will I mount my new Harman/Kardon CA280. This will give enough with power to my new DLS R1070 Reference that I will have in the space behind the back seat.

The new pulley in place. It was not too bad.

USA tour 1 vistit at Smiff's place

Today I went up to McDonough and again made a stop at Summit racing. After that I went to Kevin Smith alias "Smiff'". Smiff is a member of the BKC and owns a orange -56 ragtop that he has won a bunch of trophy with.
This VW is a real beauty.
Kevin's 2332cc build by Chico Performance Racing. Kevin got 169hp at the Dyno day.
The interior in this car is just awesome. The balance between all the parts is just so OK.
Now some picture from Kevin garage. His garage is just too good. Who would not like to have this place to play in :D
Last a picture of Kevin to the right and his friend and chef for the day Dino. Thanks for the visit Kevin and the good food.
I look forward to see you again next year.
Right now I just want to fly home and finish my own car before the summer. But most of all meet my girls that i miss a lot.

I put in some more pictures from the Sunday event in Reynolds. The weather was great. It was so great that this Swedish guy more looked like a crocodile in the face during this week.
I lost my spare battery during Saturday night. Because of that could I not take that many good pictures as i hoped. There is some but I have used my cell phone for the movie so take care of the bad quality.

This was the first cars I see lwhen I look out of the window last Sunday morning.
Chico looks a little afraid in this cold weather :D
On the way up to the start.
Here is Lee Streets marvellous 56 pro stock car.
Oliver Frays wonderful pro stock. The detail work on this car is just miraculous for me.You can se Oliver’s father with his nice German temperament ;) You were lovely guys, nice to meet you and good luck for the rest of the season.
Look at the awesome detail work.

Dammed, first time i see the trailer queens moving. I thought. But no way! Look at next movie and you understand. They don't drive them. They even push them by hand so they not ware out the engine or they were out of gas.
