Vänerträffen 2008-day 1

Now over to some pictures from one of this summers best VW meetings. Everything from the weather to the organization was on top. This event should not anyone miss if you like VW.

Summer update , Wheels & Wings- Saturday

Summer update , Wheels & Wings- Friday

Now over to the big event Wheels and Wings. I let the picture talks.

The end of the Friday did we spend outside Fredrik’s home together with some beer and friends. Late this night we got some rain but that did’t prevents us from drinking some more beer and whisky.

Summer update 2, Läjet

This summer’s biggest event or happening in my city Varberg is Wheels & Wings. This year from Thursday to Sunday this meeting gathering about 3000 cars. The best thing is the very good cursing. But this year it was a little dead because of the local government in Varberg made the road through Varberg one-way street. Who want to drive the car in just one direction without meeting anyone?
This year was the weather perfect with a lot of sun and blue sky. It was only on Saturday evening that was bad with some rain.
For me it was a perfect meeting, I even won a price for one of the most outstanding cars. It was the magazine Bilsport classic that gave me the price.

I will first start with some picture from the Thursday car meet in Läjet. This Thursday we place a new record with over 320 cars. The area was fully packed with cars from all over Sweden.

Summer update 1, Garage work

Now long time have passed without any update, so I have to do a major one from the whole summer.
I will start with some picture of my friend Daniels very nice Samba bus. We made some small adjustments before he have to go to the MOT.

Daniels bus is one of the beautiful busses I know in Sweden. Don't even try to call him. He will never sell it anyway.

The interior in this bus is amazing. It has all the old nice stuff.

The coil was broken so we hade to change it.
The king is making some adjustments on the ignition.
