WIDE FIVE Sweden meeting

First some pictures from the first meeting.
Daniels daly driver in black and Nicklas K's red -65.
Niklas -65 is so far away from a trailer queen you can get. This winter did he load his snowboard equipment and drived with it all the way up to Trysil in Norway. It's just 577km one way. Talk about daly driver.
Nicklas Replica Spyder. Nicklas also has a Typ 1 -58 that maybe will be out on the roads after next weekend.
David's very nice -65 Cal-look.
My -59 that still is under progress. Will change front beam as soon as i show up.
Making new spindles
First everything started very well.
Fredrik is just looking when Michael makes the job. In the background can you see Michaels Samba bus. Michael has what I think 8 other VW's.
Now starting Fredrik to help Michael out. He has to do the easy job that he's now used t, pumping and more pumping.
Now is it time to put the spindle together. At first it looked OK but then Fredrik is starting to HAMMER it together. Lucky him that he had me and Michael there to cool him down or he would never had any droped spindles today ;)

Göran Lundgren
Göran is showing what he is working on at the moment. Not too tell anyone to much must I say is it the most well made and advanced VW engine I ever seen. I have been "playing" with VW since -88 so I have seen a lot during the years.
This is the rear trasmission mont.

It was not enough with one nice engine waitng for a ride. Bengt had on more ready. Some guys can't get enough.
