Autumn rally

Now this year’s cruising and driving soon comes to an end. Thursday evening car meet this year come to an end with a autumn rally for all cars that want to participate. We started outside Varberg in a small village called Derome. We meet up outside on Eklövfs on a parking lot.
The participate was bigger then i have expected. I don't really know how many cars it was. First stop we had to do was outside Dick's garage just some kilometers away from the start. On each stop there was some games and questions we had to answer.
After Dick's garage it went away to 4 more stops before it ended down in Morup about 25km south from Varberg.
More about the Thursday car meetings can be find at http://www.torsdagstraffen.se/
I want to thank Christer for all his job he does to make this Thursday meetings possible. Once again a BIG THANK YOU!
In hurry and on the way.
Finally at Eklöf's there every one meet up.
Now we are at Dick's garage.
Here is my friend Ellie from Florida that was in Sweden to help me out with some work. I hope you hade a safe trip back to Florida.
Inside Dick's garage were there some goodies that just wait to be finished so they can get out on the streets.
Böje's and my VW outside the second stop. This place I liked a lot. There were a lot to look at everything from old mopeds to old options to have in the car.

Another Thursday evening at Läjet. This day was cold and windy and one of the first autumn days. This thuresday was it not so many cars.

A new/old VW in town. I guess someone of you recognize it.

Johan Dryselius on his Hobster. Johan left the VW dragracing scene some years ago. He was one of the former members in J-team racing. In J-team racing was it Johan, Jörgen and me Jonas.
Johan build even some very nice Cal-Lookers long time ago ;) Now he just build bikes. But you never know, one time a VW owner always a VW owner.
Some pictures of the old dragracing VW. I think the car is still in Norway.
Here is the first Buggy we where driving with. I was from the begining build by Johannes Persson also known from JPM.

Vänerträffen 2008-day 2

Now over to the second day of Vänerträffen.
One very nice VW. Everthing on this car is as perfect as it could be.
The car has all the options I think you can find.
Hazet toolbox in the front is just one more option on this VW.
The engine was not any worse then the rest of the car. Everything is just stunning.
Woffe has a suspect visitor at the shop of his well done parts. I think we will see more of this guy who carries around a crawfish. If you want to read more about Woffe's parts you can do that on http://www.wolfparts.com/
Steffan Kuus's nice VW
Nice interior with funny options.
Nice and clean engine hade it too.
I'm on the way to the distribution of the prize I got.

I won the prize for one of the ten most outstanding cars.
Happy guy! It's always fun when someone appreciate the work you do. Some more cars that won prizes for most outstandig car.
Jocke on his way to get his prize. Have I not seen the guy that is infront of his car befor with some crawfish in his hands.
Another happy http://fahrvergnugen.se/ winner. Steffon won price for best Rat VW.
Third winner from http://fahrvergnugen.se/ I must say that we took grand slam on Vänersborg this year. Jocke B won also price for best in show.
On the way back home Mirre past out. I can be very hard to be at VW meetings.
At last I want to thank VW Airheads for another terrific meeting and I can't wait enough to next year.
